Riley is a Belfast-based designer producing ceramic and digital designs, and combining the two. They experiment with all aspects of ceramics, swapping between thrown, handbuilt, and slip-casted pieces, creating functional and sculptural work, and testing out a multitude of glazes and finishes.
Tying their work together is the inspiration taken from organic patterns and forms. This is incorporated into the overall shape of pieces and through colour choices, decoration and graphics. Riley’s work combines their interest in digital design, such as 3D modelling, and clay as a medium.
